雙溪教會原名『頂雙溪禮拜堂』，成立於1886年，因馬偕前往噶瑪蘭傳教，中途多次在頂雙溪休息、宣教而建，禮拜堂保留馬偕光緒13年(1887)立匾「耶穌聖教」。當年以石灰石興建，設有講堂、教室與客房，是傳福音與上課的空間。現今的外觀為1954年卓開日牧師帶領教徒齊心重建，見證信仰與在地的連結。緊鄰的雙溪國小創校於1898年，是雙溪貢寮地區最早的小學，曾與教會攜手照顧外地教師，寫下雙溪教育與信仰同行的故事。

Shuangxi Presbyterian Church was originally called “Dingshuangxi Chapel” when it was founded in 1886 as a rest stop and preaching site for missionary George Leslie Mackay during his work in Kavalan (Yilan). The chapel still holds a plaque from 1887 inscribed with “Holy Religion of Jesus.” The original building was made of limestone and included a chapel, classrooms, and guest rooms, serving both worship and education. The current church was rebuilt in 1954 under Pastor Kai-Rih Jhuo’s leadership. Next to the church stands Shuangxi Elementary School, founded in 1898. As the oldest school in the Shuangxi-Gongliao area, it once worked closely with the church to support teachers from other areas, and therefore built a close connection between education and faith in Shuangxi.
